For Android emulation the honest answer is “it depends on maturity, not just raw numbers.” Recent Dimensity parts (the 8300/1100 class) offer excellent price-to-performance and clear the PS2/GameCube/Wii band well; the historical caveat is driver and per-emulator compatibility, which has improved but still produces the occasional rough edge. Snapdragon (865 class up through 8 Gen 2/3) carries the longest, best-documented emulator compatibility record, often at a price premium for equivalent horsepower. If you want the widest out-of-the-box compatibility, Snapdragon is the safe pick; if you want the most performance per dollar and will tolerate occasional tuning, Dimensity earns the look. Both are consensus bands — individual titles vary, and games must be ones you legally own.
