Using the site
Handheld Verdict publishes handheld and accessory reviews, comparisons, and buying guides for personal, non-commercial use. Content is provided as-is for information; you are responsible for your own purchasing decisions.
Grades are not guarantees
Specs, prices, firmware, and product generations change over time, and manufacturers revise hardware under unchanged names. Everything here is decision-support based on published figures and named-outlet benchmark data — not a guarantee of the exact frame rate, battery life, or emulation performance you will see, which depend on settings, firmware, and per-title behavior. Emulation performance also assumes games you legally own. Confirm the exact model and generation in the listing before you buy.

Emulation and legally-owned games
Our emulation coverage concerns hardware and honest performance ceilings only. Emulators are legal software, but the games and any required BIOS must be ones you legally own — Handheld Verdict does not host, link, name, or explain where to obtain ROM or BIOS files, and nothing here should be read as encouragement to do so.

Site content, original graphics, and the Emulation Ceiling Finder are the property of Handheld Verdict. Product, brand, chipset, and console names are used nominatively to identify the products discussed and belong to their respective owners.
