Native is the default for a reason: no input-latency tax, no reliance on a connection, no monthly fee, and the games keep working if a service shuts down. Cloud handhelds trade all of that for cheap hardware that can show current-gen visuals your local chip could never render — genuinely useful on strong, low-latency Wi-Fi, frustrating on anything less. The honest test is your network and your patience for latency, not the spec sheet. Most people want a native device that can also stream when it makes sense; a stream-only handheld is a specific tool for a specific home network.
