Bitrate

Bitrate is the data rate of the streamed video, and it sets image quality: higher bitrate means a sharper, less-compressed picture but demands more bandwidth and a stable connection. Local streaming on a good network can push high bitrates for a near-native look; congested Wi-Fi forces it down, and you see the softness and artifacts. It is the quality dial behind a streaming setup, and it is one more reason the network, not the handheld’s silicon, decides how good streaming looks.
