Chipset Tier
A chipset tier groups processors that deliver roughly the same emulation ceiling — entry Unisoc parts in one band, the T618/T820 class in another, upper Snapdragon and recent Dimensity higher still, x86 APUs at the top. Grouping by tier cuts through model-number noise: what matters is not the exact chip name but which console generations its band clears. Our Emulation Ceiling Finder is built on these tiers, and our reviews name a device’s tier so you can place it instantly.
